Plassotech 3G Author or FEMdesigner?

Does anyone have any experience with either Plassotech 3G Author or FEMdesigner? I am looking into both of these packages as options for FEA analysis as they appear to be a lot more affordable than most of what is out there. Thanks

I have compared contact analysis models using Abaqus, Lusas (using spring gap elements) , MSC/Nastran (also using CGAP elements) and FEMdesigner , on a pin within a spherical bearing which itself was within a spherical lug, i.e. two regions of contact. All solvers gave very close results, however FEmdesigner was more than 50% quicker than any of the other three !
