can anyone plz tell me what is pitch graph in helical
sweep. what is the significance of it in the context of
helix. i have to make spiral around the periphery of a
cylinder. I am not able to understand the pitch graph as to
what pitch i have to enter. the picth defines which value
of the spiral? if needed, i can send the drawing or the
model.

pitch graph defines pitch of spiral at different distances.
for example, you can specify pitch at different angles.
If your helix length is 20mm.
length(mm)--angle(degree)--pitch value
0--0--x
90--5--y
180--10--z
270--15--w
360--20--p

where x,y,x p are the values you can specify..
u can also enter intermediate angles as required.
pitch: it is the value by which helix advances in length.Just like in spring or thread
