Pipe stress service

How do you evaluate this type of service / business?
Do you think that companies are willing to cooperate with external engineer or does everyone have their own stress engineer and it is not good business?

What do you mean, or what are you trying to do? Are you trying to be a pipe stress consultant that comes in and collects drawings/data to analyze existing systems or forensic analysis?

Most engineering consultants have the capability to do pipe stress analysis. At my firm we've had several jobs where a power plant or similar asked us to perform pipe stress analysis and provide recommendations/report of the findings.

We have reached out to specialty consultants for dynamic analysis or particularly complicated/sensitive systems, but it's not the norm for us. Down in Houston or the gulf area the market may be very different, I don't know.
