Pipe sealing

Hi,

I'm trying to seal a plastic pipe that works in High pressure (50 bar).
I done want to machine the pipe are there any shelf items or ideas that you think might work.
I attached 2 concepts I was working on.

Nope, and I would not use plastic at 50 bar.

 
this pipe can hold up to 100 bar in the datasheet.
and I need to plan some costum end fitting
 
I think your concept needs more explicit information. I don't understand the drawings. Is it glued in? Friction? Thermoelectric?
Until then, that's quite a bit of pressure for "plastic".

Usually you squeeze some elastomeric material against the sealing surface.

Really? Care to share the data sheet??, but I agree with Mr 44, It isn't easy to understand what is sealing with what in that drawing. Or what you're using? Bolts, glue? external clamp?

There are special spirally reinforced thermal plastic resin pipes that supposedly reach those pressures, but that really shouldn't be describes as "plastic". It was all bad reading after that.

 
Regarding Dash 44's reinforced composite pipe, you really would need to discuss the end fitting design with the manufacturer; those things aren't just banged together with compression fittings, nor would they hold up if you cut a retaining ring groove on the i.d. (that being my interpretation of your sketches).
 
in the first pic you can see the the current design we're using.
it has a groove for a retaining ring and it holds at 50 bar. I also peformed a shear stress calculation with 50 bar there in no problem.
now we got different pipes the problem they are not straighte we nee to straighten them and seal them,and they are not very circular.
I couldn't find a relevant end fitting for them so I thought maybe I ask here.
and I also added a concept for the design. that I machine a conical peek insert it with force (still didn't add groove+o-ring) and close everything with a lid)
 

I am looking to the thread and the responds for a while... Still you did not mention the 'plastic pipe ' material and the size .. I do not think that you can find any shelf item for 100 bar pressure.

In order to see the concept, you may look to some fitting manufacturers ;

I will suggest you to use external insert with back-up flange.
