Can anyone point me in the right direction for the allowable uplift capacity of a drilled pile? The pile will be a 13.625" diameter (80 ksi) casing. I need to find the uplift capcity based on skin friction and self weight at a certain depth. Thanks all

try post on "Foundation Engineering" forum with info on soil type & properties.

The Geotech engineer should be able to give you allowable skin friction values for pile uplift. I think its important to ask them for these values, not for the structural to derive them on his own.

I would agree with lkjh. In fact, I think Chapter 18 of the IBC requires that information from the Geotech as part of their report.
