I'm working on an inorganic phosphate base inhibitor, writing a paper. However, literature is relatively scarce (scientific papers) even though these compounds have been used in industries for years. Is it because this field is not a matter of interest or do not have any scientific value anymore? Is there anyone with experience in this field here.
By changing the salt, for example changing the X in Xn(PO4)n with a new element, can we claim that the inhibitor is novel, and expect that our studies can be published in a good journal? or instead of using phosphonic acid salts
