Cheers fellow engineers,

Recently im doing a lot of custom design packaging shapes and i was wondering is there prototyping foam available that i could shape mechanically like sculptor but in office surroundings.

eg. When i press it with my hand i want to scan/measure/present the shape of the negative. It would be good if it retracts to its original shape, after a while or after influence of temperature.

Something like mattress memory foam but more permanent memory...

Thank you for any ideas!

Best regards

There's a toy with that sort of property, but it's not a contiguous foam:
