With regard to my previous posting, I searched my library, and I would recommend MIL-HDBK-659A, on Human Factors Engineering, which is a very concise military handbook covering the spectrum of human factors engineering from percentile sizes to slump factors, and body movement. It contains several charts listing degrees/range of movement etc.<br>

I've used it extensively on contracts with the military and it's been quite invaluable for close-quarters design work.<br>
