Hi
Could anyone advise me on a PEC autostart control circuit.
Basically I have two conveyors(3 Ph sc motors) Once manually started I need them to stop, start according to the PEC's requirment, stop when the beam is broken and start when the object is removed from the beam and stop completely if an e stop is pressed.

Thanks

I'd be tempted to use a "smart relay". Lots of manufacturers sell almost identical products (Telemechanique is one that springs to mind), and they're a doddle to use. They just apply a bit of logic to some inputs and give you the output (on/off) that you need. I've used them for various alarm circuits and they were easy peasy. They could be programmed from a PC (and simulated on one) and all in, including software, only cost about £100.

Thank you Robward,
Do know of any links you would suggest?

Sorry for the delay.
Try RS Components. There're a few to try. Telemechanique Zelio controller is one that springs to mind, but I think other manufacturers make almost identical bits of kit. The Zelio used to come as a starter pack with serial cable and software at a good price, but I've not checked the latest catalogue
