Can you tell me more about paralams? I never heard of them before.

Just google parallam and/or trussjoist and you'll get all kinds of hits. Parallam has been around quite a while now.

So that's where the parallam I called out on my plans actually ended up! Was wondering why only 2x12's were installed.
