Hi all,

I am creating PDF's using Win2PDF software and it works fine but the file size that it creates is around 300kb-400kb and it takes a while for it to load in adobe. Anyone know how to reduce file size.

Are you creating from a Pro-E file? If so, have you ever tried creating a generic postscript file then running through Adobe Acrobat Distiller to create .pdf files? May take a little more time but works great and size is small.

What font are you using?

Using windows font instead of Pro/E default font causes huge files that are really slow to load into Acrobat and also awfully slow to print.

Using standard Pro/e font.

Pdf's are being created from pro/e drawings.

Tried playing around with the resolution and layer qualitybut only reduces image quality and hardly any difference on file size.
