I am a new user to NX but not to the industry. You guys on this forum have already helped greatly in my new experiences with NX. I have read the forum and found the export a method to create a .pdf with multiple sheets most helpful. I needed a way to create a multi drawing pdf and save it to the directory where the drawing is located. I uploaded the journal script from Cowski and it works perfectly with one caveat. The created pdf prints very light. It looks fine on the screen but does not print well. Is there a way to adjust the pdf creation values to correct this? I cant find a way. The pdf shows a creation software of Quickpdflibrary. If I use the print command and use Adobe Distiller or PDF Creator, the pdf prints fine. NX 7.5

If you go File - Utilities - Customer defaults- Gateway - PDF Export
you can set the default behavior for the export, colors / B-W etc and the setup of the line widths in the pdf.
NX itself does not have a width defined * more than "thin- normal-thick" but these does not have an exact width defined. The width setting in mm/inch applies first when you plot/print/export to some format where a with should be defined. * NX9 has both more line thicknesses than 3 and also widths defined.
It's a matter of personal taste / or the local drafting standard how wide the lines should be when exported, i have set mine to 0.2 ; 0.35 ; 0.5 mm

Regards,
Tomas

Make sure the default print (to pdf) options on your computer are set to B&W (not color) .
