Hi,

I have an HP PCI Bus Analyzer. Does anyone know how to use this thing? I can't find much about it on the net, I search for pci bus analyzer's and i get a lot of hits on vmetro's pci bus analyzer. So if there is anyone out there who knows where i can get some info regarding this analyzer that i have. model is E2925

Thanks,
Vic

Hi Laffalot,

Thanks for the link! Just a quick question, what is GNT# pin and REQ# pin?

Vic

I found out what the GNT# and REQ# pin is ... it's the pins for the connectors on the motherboard...
Do you or does anyone have any experience using the analyzer?
Where else can I find information regarding the HP PCI Bus Analyzer?

Thank you,
Vic

Hi,

No I have not used that type on analyzer before.

Yes you got it , they are connections on the PCI bus.

REQ# = Request & GNT# = granted

for more information on the PCI bus see the following link

As for more info, I'd have thought the lot was covered by those PDF manuals (the HP PCI being the same as the Agilent PCI BUS).

Regards
