We just "upgraded" our plotter from a Xerox 8830 to a Xerox 510. The salesman claimed that the new printer could print even finer lines than our previous printer. He was right but...If I print using window setting for the printer, the line quality looks pretty good. A little lighter than before, but still, pretty good. If I use a pc3 set up, I end up with all the lines looking pretty much the same. I can thicken them up, but I can't seem to narrow them down beyond a certain point. Has anyone else encountered this, and is it fixable? I don't really like adusting my pen widths to much, because if I plot to a different plotter without changing the pens, the lines are way to thick.

We control lines with the plotstyles, not the plotter settings. Give that a try.
