Hi,
I have a Parvex PLC and i'm trying to comunicate with Schenider PLC by CANopen. The Parvex has a port de comunication CANopen and i use the converter CRS232 (this converter make the conversion RS232 to CAN) for download the program code by the port COM1 of my computer. When i try to connect directly the Schneider PLC there is not comunication. If some knows how can i do for communicate, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

RS232 problems
Swap 2 and 3 on the RS232 side, might have it backwards
If a db9 connector make sure pin 5 is signal ground
If a db25 connector make sure pin 7 is signal ground
Do you have hardware handshaking or not? Look up the spec on Rs232 whether you need control lines.

Can bus problems (similar to Devicenet or Profibus)
This would basically be if you have the correct node address set on Can side.
Check your wiring and does it meet spec.
Should be some documentation on the converter your using.
