Parts and assemblies will open in seperate windows 1

Hola everyone,

Recently I have come across a bit of wierdness with Solidworks, and I have been unable to find an answer for why it is happening. Another user at my company has checked an assembly into PDMWorks, and when other users check this assembly out and open it, many of the part files and sub-assembly files will open in seperate windows. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? We are using 2009 SP 3.0.

They probably have the Load referenced documents option set to All at Tools > Options > System Options > External References.

This one settings may people off guard, and it's not obvious how to find it if you don't already know about it.
