Partially Open Steel Framed Garage Protection

We've designed a 10-story steel framed office building over a 2-story steel framed partially open garage(the garage entries/exists are open, as well as some metal screened openings for airflow). The steel beams and columns will be spray fireproofed. The garage slabs are hollow core plank. Since it is a partially open garage, subject to humidity and moisture (not direct rain), should the steel also be galvanized or shop primed before the spray fireproofing is applied, or is the spray fireproofing applied to the bare steel enough protection? We've read that the spray fireproofing may not adhere if the steel is galvanized or painted. Thanks for you feedback!

You weren't planning on just leaving the fireproofing exposed to the environment were you?
I would worry that a fireproofed beam, with no other protection, might allow moisture in and create a constant, damp condition that would immediately begin deteriorating the steel.

There is fiber based fire protection and cement based - even if cement based I still doubt the waterproof nature of it and would be concerned.
