To the SW gurus
How do you change a complex parts' orientation (without remodelling it) with the proper orientation and on the right planes so that when you select iso,di,trimetric views in a drawing, it displays front and upright. There must be a way. NO?
Thanks

In the view orientation dialog there is a tool named "update standard views". The icon has a spyglass with an arrow. open the view orientation dialog (hit space bar) and click the front view so SW displays the default front view. Then set your model in position so you are looking at what you want to be the front view. Then click the "update standard views" button. You will recieve a message asking if you really want to do this. Say yes. You're done. The help file has information on this.
