Hi,
This part is just an exercise.
It is very interesting, so please be free to open it.
I have two components and a weld.
After I make a minor modification of these two components(face moving), the weld doesn't update, unless I click on it and hit OK.
Theoretically it should, because I have selected only the futures (edges and faces) that belong to those two components.
I need to know:
1) Why doesn't the weld update by itself, after making a modification?
2) What the fast way to update the weld?

Thanks

I should have specified "future" update.............

The gren part is a Tube. It doesn't update, too............

While I can't explain the behavior of the Weld feature, the reason that the Tube feature doesn't update when you make the Move Face feature the Current Feature is because it appears AFTER the Tube feature in the 'History Tree'. Move the Move Face feature to just after Extrude(5) and your Tube will now update as expected.

I tried that with no change in behavior. The OP might consider contacting GTAC and having them open an IR. If they can reproduce this behavior then a PR would be in order.

I tried Cowski's suggestion but no change in behavior.

I make the "move face" the current feature, then update the weld bead option as stated above. The yellowish colored weld bead tube updates to the new location, the green "tube" feature does not (because it appears before the move face command in the feature tree as John stated above). Finally, I reorder the move face before the green tube so that it updates along with the change.
