I have couple of questions on Part 4; API-579-1 (Edition 2016)
1- If length for thickness averaging (computed from equation 4.6) is more than vessel length, how thickness averaging can be performed in this situation? This situation often arises when Q=50 and Dml is large.
2- If length for thickness averaging (computed from equation 4.6)is not more than vessel length but appreciably greater than inspection plane, how thickness averaging can be performed in this situation?
