as part of Part 15 of hazardous area classifcation our process engineers are trying to term diesel fuel as producing hazardous area, they are stating that pressurised fuel is hazardous, when it leaks in a fine mist, even when it escapes to atomosphere.
can anyone point me to a spec or anything that gives evidence stating diesel fuel when a mist under atomospheric pressure does not create a hazardous area.
thanks
