Parameters in CATIA product

Hello everyone,
I started a design of a gearbox just for fun. Every gear has its own parameters. I made some products and then i brought them together. The problem is that the parameters don't work in the product although they work perfectly in the subasseblies. Can anyone suggest how i can get them to work without designing everything again?

Do all the parameters have unique names?

Could you provide a list of all the parts in the product, with a sub-list of the parameters within each part?

I suspect you will have to replace all (or most) of the old part parameters with the new product parameters.

Seems that changing the parameters and in some cases even the drawings is the solution
