Whenever I try to open an application In Panelbuilder 1400E
Using windows 2000 professional as an operating system, I
get the error Temp directory path at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local settings\Temp is too long.
The application fails to open.

Thank you for any help Doug

I solved my own problem. If you are running RSview32 and
PB1400E on the same computer and you require a password to login. Then, Rsview32 requires a Temp file in C:\Documents & settings\Administrator\Local settings to run. PB1400E will not open applications with a temp file there. It has to be in C:\Documents & settings. Rsview32 will run with a Temp file in both places, but you have to delete the one in Local settings to run PB1400. You also have to create a Temp file in Local settings to run RSview32.

Just for anyone's info Thank Doug

AH Rockwell software; a perfect combination with Microsoft! (Heavy note of sarcasm). Just why people continue to write viruses is beyond me, when windows is a perfect virus that can cause all sorts of problems and everyone uses it!
