I am designing some components to develop a core-annular flow within a circulating system to study multi-phase flow. I was wondering what the P&ID symbol for a smaller pipe within a larger pipe would be. The larger pipe is 12 inches, and the smaller pipe would be either 6 or 8 inches.

Thanks

I have seen depictions for jacketed pipe. Even if you find something graphical, consider a note that describes the requirements.

I have not seen that on a P&ID.

Having said that, nothing prevents you from coming up with a new symbology/depiction for such an arrangement.

Sorry can't be of much help.

I think that I will come up with my own symbols and notation. When I figure them out, I will post them. Thanks for all your help.
