Overlap in a sheetmetal part with a groove

Hello,

I am creating a round tube kind of sheet metal part in creo 2.0 (attached).

I have a groove in between and customer wants us to show an overlap for resistance welding in the model.

I am having trouble creating the overlap at the groove portion. I tried sweep command, revolve command etc.

Can anyone help me with this? or is there any other way to do parts with grooves in it?
