Our company has been working on a few projects that experience snow accumulation in outside air intakes due to higher winds and very cold climates. This has even occurred with design velocities 400 FPM or less.
We are considering trying to install an electric element of some sort into the air intake plenums to melt the snow and then drain it out. Does anyone have any experience doing this and do you have a company you recommended for such a product?
Thanks,
Paul G.
