I am trying to calculate the output torque of a reducer based on the the input horsepower. For instance the Dodge gear book tells me that at 1750 input RPM a Size 200, 30:1 gearbox has an output torque of 624in-lbs with a .83 input horsepower. If I use a std 3/4 hp motor what would be the actual output torque taking gearing inefficentcies into account?
