orphan mesh -AND pausing and rerun the simulaion

HI All,

Is it possible to use the Assembly-Constrain-Coaxial
constrain with orphan meshes of concentri cylinders?
Also, If i try to replace the part from assembly with
its orphan mesh, the parts will be separated out. HOw
can we assemble two concentric cylinder's orphan mesh?


Also, is it possible in abaqus explicit, to stop
(kill) the simulation and resume afterwards from the
stopped point?

Any suggestion in this regard will be appreciated.

The orphan mesh question was asked and answered in a differnt thread. The answer is "yes", just create a CSYS on the parts and use the edge-to-edge assembly constraint
