I am developing a model of an orifice for liquid flow through a cylindar, which consists of transfer functions relating input to output conditions and having parameters (density, MW, Gamma, & composition) definable by the user. The liquid will either be some form of water or liquid fuel. I would like to find a derived equation or relation that would allow for the calculation of exit temperature (or energy).
Assume:
Incompressible fluid
Constant properties
Setup as flange tap orifice (Pin and Pout at 1 inch before and after orifice respectively)
Known:
Pin, Tin, Pout, density, viscosity, Din=Dout, Dorifice, Athrout, mdot, Q, Vin, Vout, Vthrout
Thanks in advance.
