Organic compounds adsortion

Hi , i´m chemical engineer and i would like to know how could i eliminate organic compounds from all the elements in a chemical plant (tanks leake...).
I´ve heard about carbon adsortion or "criogenia".

Please help me or if you don´t know Does anybody know a book about this matter?
