Is it possible to change the default jog in ordinate dimension, specifically to shorten the length of the straight segments of a jogged ordinate ? I have had to reduce the scale of a drawing, including the annotation text, but the jog segment length is now out of proportion. Is this linked to some other setting ?

Thanks !

You can drag the handles around to change the lengths. Is that what you are looking for?

You're right, that would work ! But I was hoping for a way to globally change the extension lengths, or to find the setting that it is tied to. I suppose I could multiple select a group of ordinates, and move them in unison. It would take a lot of time to do this by grips, on a large, multi-sheet detail. Basically, I'm trying to "tuck in" the ordinate dimensions closer to the view, so that there will be a straight extension, a jog, and another extension adjacent to the text. AutoCAD had a dimension variable for this, I am looking for an analog to this in SW ...

While you're on jogging, has anyone created a macro button or keyboard shortcut for jog and unjog without digging 2 deep into the shorcut menus? With large amounts of dimensions this would come in handy.
