Hi,
I have a model which we simulated it in MARC 3D and Optistruct solvers. The results given by marc were matched with the experimental results whereas Optistruct results didnt get match.
In Optistruct when we viewed the vonmises stress results in hyperview by simple averaging method, the stress was matched to some extent. But without smoothing(averaging) method, stresses differed a lot.
We should match the results with marc. Could anyone please tell how the results will be calculated in marc whether marc uses any smoothing methods or not?
