opening .model in v5

Please ask your question again using more details. I'm sure that it will be easier for us to understand what's your problem.
.model file its a CATIA v4 file. To avoid errors, may be its better to use Tools-Batch utility to migrate to v5 before opening (but its true that you should be able also to open the model file directly in v5).
