One-Way Shear in Isolated Footings (CSI SAFE)

According to ACI 318, the critical section for one-way shear in footings is located at a distance d from the face of the column. However, in SAFE, the program evaluates one-way shear based on the shear demand at several stations along the design strip, which often results in a more conservative (higher) shear value than what the code specifies. Is there a way to adjust SAFE’s settings or modeling approach so that the critical shear section is considered at d from the column face, in compliance with ACI requirements?
