If you create an identification symbol , say a number surrounded by square, you can create it without any problem.
But the problem arises when you need to edit that symbol ,to change that square box into circle or triangle. You cant change that symbol and need to delete the symbol and create a new one is the solution.

I dont know whether it is a bug or any other trick is available.

And is there any way to create a number surrounded by a circle in notes option?. I can create it a separate identification symbol. But i cannot create in between notes.

There are no options to edit the original 'type' of an ID symbol.

Also there is no way to insert an ID symbol into an actual text string or note. The best that you can do would be either create a Custom Symbol of an 'ID Symbol' and include that in your note or create a standalone ID Symbol and create your note around it.

I really wonder to hear that, it is unable to edit the identification symbol type.

So, if i created say 10 symbols with square shaped and i need to change them means, i want to delete all of them and recreate it. Right?

I am tired of posting such difficulties in NX drafting. :(

A lot of effort is going into making changes and enhancements in NX Drafting and PMI so my suggestion is that now would be a good time to submit formal ER's addressing any missing functionality and capabilities in these areas.
