Evergreen Scale Models supplies 24" lengths in various diameters for styrene tube. If they don't make 1", they may know who does in small quantities.
You can also try Scandia Plastics. You can always request that a "sample" be sent and let them know what you're looking for.

You should be able to find Styrene display tubes in small quantities. Or if you may have to buy something in a display tube. I have also seen Styrene tubes in hobby shops.
A lot of the newer display tube are polyester so go for the dusty one. If you could use the polyester it would be a lot easier to get one.
