I need to anchor a pontoon to the shore. To do this I will use three shore mounted concrete blocks. The central block will be attached to the pontoon by a hinged walkway designed to resist compression/tension loads but not bending. The outer two blocks will each have a cable attached to the pontoon to resist lateral wind and tide loads. The blocks, through necessity, cannot be buried, so I would like to know the safe coefficient of friction for a concrete block resting on flat silty ground. Could partly bury, but no more than 300mm. Loads will be around 3T.

Thanks in anticipation
