Not exactly...
...however, he worked with a lot of them.
I had a chance to hear Scott Adams speak at a conference a few years ago and his is a great life story, particularly with respect to his efforts for so many years to get published and how he literally came within a day of giving-up all hope of making it as a cartoonist.
