Oil migration into dry gas seal may cause explosion ?

Due to lost of tertiary seal gas supply (N2) , oil was able to migrate into the dry gas seal causing leakage of process gas. Is there a chance of the oil and gas mixed that would cause an explosion ?

Dunno, what is the oil, what is the gas, what are the concentrations expected, what temperatures, is there an ignition source...your diagram/drawing segment provides little explanation either.
