Oil Leakage in Water Pipeline

Hello friends,

There is oil leakage in Condenser,Gland Steam Condenser and Feedwater water pipelines. We analyzed water and found a oil leakage (70-80 ppm) in system. This reason gaskets failure of LP Turbine exhaust bearing lube oil pipes. We changed new gaskets. After the maintenance, quantity of oil decreased but not stop in water analysis. I think the problem is a another points. Our system in operation for two years
How can I do? Is there anybody else make a analyze to system water for oil leakage?

They make oil in water analysers. These are used for detecting PPM oil in water, usually in marine applications to check bilge water.
There are many such manufacturers i believe.
Density meters can only usually help you with around 3% or more, which from your query i suspect to be a catastrophic leak.
