I've read the answer from Terry "As a rule of thumb, engine oil passages should be designed for a maximum flow velocity of 20 ft/sec on the pressure side, and a maximum of 6 ft/sec at the pump inlet to prevent cavitation."

Good luck.
Terry

Is anyone know the reference?why he/she write like that?evidence by a handbook, manual or others!
