I hope so I got a passing score. In the morning part of the test I know that I missed 2 questions. I am fairly certain that I got the rest of them correct. I may have made some minor errors or fell for some of the "gotcha" answers that they put on the exam so I might have missed another 2 or 3 or so in the morning. But, The HVAC afternoon section was VASTLY different than the NCEES practice test. There were a lot of questions that were for VERY specific steam/hydronic system applications and very few phsychrometrics and energy/mass balance problems compared to the NCEES practice test. When I got home after the test I wrote down as much of the problems as I can remember. (about 19 for the afternoon section) I will start to study these in the next couple of weeks. I sure hope you don't have to get 60 or 70 of the 80 questions right to pass.
I don't know if it's the same as when I took it 30 yrs ago, but back then they curved at the state level, which fed into a curve at the national level. I believe 50% score was passing back then. Pretty sad, really.
