Hi, we have an application where we consider using Nylon nut under a rolling structure. Such structure will be carried in winter conditions. Therefore it will be splashed with water having deicing and anti icing salts in it. These salts may contain Sodium chloride, Calcium chloride, Mixture of sodium chloride and calcium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Mixture of sodium chloride and magnesium chloride, Potassium chloride, Brines or Ferrocyanide....

I have read nylon may absorb water, do you foresee any short or long term problems with the fact that 1.) nylon may absorbe water and 2.) nylon may absorbe water with the mentionned chemical components...

Thank you, Marc
