Converting NX 8.5.3 cable spline paths with slack to NX 9.0.2 splines is extremely slow. After conversion, editing the spline is nearly impossible. Each edit is taking 15-30 minutes to complete on long cables. Removing slack in 8.5 then converting the splines in 9.0 is a workaround, but adding slack back in is very slow and often causes unexpected loops or knots in the cable.

Has anyone seen this?

I just tried it, it seems that the math is new, the shape of the 8.5 spline is quite different to the NX9. ( See image)
( NX8.5.3 and NX 9.0.2)
I did not see any performance issues on this minimal test.

Call the GTAC and open an IR.

Thanks for looking at this. I have a PR with GTAC.

This appears to be related to adding slack. Without slack the converted NX9 spline is quickly editable, but when selected and the slack option is chosen it takes 15-60 minutes to add slack. Short branches <15 points perform better. This worked fine in NX 8.5 on any length cable. Slack and the new NX9 spline is a regression and unworkable. Suggestions are appreciated.
