I have an NX6 assembly file (using Mating Conditions) ... it has 4 screws, originally created with a circular component array (4 x 90) and then 2 of the screws were clocked by an additional 15 degrees. Pre-NX9, I would right-click on a component, choose "Mate" and then set the value for the angular expression.

When I open the file in NX9, the component array is converted to a component pattern ... where's the UI for editing the angular expressions ?

Try this. In the Assembly Navigator, see if there's an item titled 'Component Patterns'. If so, expand it to show that actual 'Pattern Object' and once you've done that, double-click this item and you will be placed in the Edit Pattern Component dialog. Go down to the section of the dialog labeled 'Instance Points' and select the 'Select Instance Point (0)' item activating it. When you do, you'll be asked to select 'Instance Points', which are the little 'cubes' usually located near the centroid of the components. Select the 'Points' for the components that you wish to move and press MB3 and you should see a 'Clock' option. Select it and enter a value for the amount that you want to move the component(s). At least, this is how it works if you create a Circular Pattern from scratch using NX 9.0.

John, I do have the component pattern item, and the array is "now" a pattern object, but there's no way to get to the clocked values.

Without your actual Assembly file there is very little that I can do other than what I've already suggested. Perhaps you should contact GTAC and have them look at your files.
