NX9.0.3.4 drill template part file

Hi All,

When I go to manufacturing and create a new legacy drill operation, if I choose
spotface or spotdrill the Path Settings portion of the dialog and below keep closing up, however if I keep
saying OK to operation, each time I go back in another portion of the dialog opens up. if I generate the
operation the Path Settings portion closes by itself. It seems the drill template file may be corrupt for
spotface and spotdrill!

The rest of the drill template below spotface and spotdrill seem fine.

was able to update spotface and spotdrill dialog from the (3rd down) drill operation and seems good,
however not sure that is the solution

anyone seen this one

Hi Folks,

For what it is worth NX 9.0.3.4 (mp1) appears to have a corrupt manufacturing template
part file "drill.prt" in the MACH/resource/template_part/english and metric and in
MACH/updates/template_part/English and metric. The spotfacing and spotdrilling dialogs do
not stay the way you set them when you click OK. the remaining op's drill etc. seem ok.
also Path settings will actually close when you generate one of these 2 op's

The work around is to repair the spotface and spotdrill op's in the template file by updating
them from the drill op. then saving the "drill.prt" template file.

In NX the legacy drill is on critical maintenance and may not be fixed.
Just a heads up to anyone using drill template files and annoyed by this behavior.
