I am working in NX6. I am creating a surface for a parting line shut-off and in this JPEG I have attached I ended up with a "ripple" in my surface. I fight thru these ripples often times and basically I am looking for new ways of fixing the geometry more quickly. How would YOU remove this section or create this. I used "EXTENSION" then "normal to surface". Surface modeling is very time consuming and requires alot of forethought. Here is my situation, see attached.

Probably would use through curve mesh I would imagine?

They is a chance that tweaking the tolerance on the surface may affect the outcome, and yes, curve mesh is a way to fix it.

I've had just this problem and "Through Curve Mesh" has normally been the solution. You can insert additional "Bridge Curves" to use as your "Cross Curves" which will force the geometry to behave as you want.
