Which is the best device for NX 10 (in terms of dimension and performance)?.....What specifications should it meet (resolution, memory, operating system, etc)?

Thanks!

There is no best device for NX, you can use different device for drafting, small models, huge assemblies, rendering, animating models, etc. Device can be compared based on work you have to do, not by software alone.
Or to make it easier, buy best computer you can and it will be good, at least it will be better than one you can not afford.

Thanks IvanNX.........

....while that might be OK, if you have issues with any device and said device or its hardware isn't certified, you will get little device-related support from Siemens. Hardware must be certified for support from Siemens, hence why I provided the link.

My 1 year old ASUS G751j pure gaming laptop just said that he does not agree with Xwheelguy...
He said that Siemens just have kind of deal with HP, Dell, Lenovo, Fujitsu, to claim that they have something better in their computers so they can sell them for price that is one quater to double more than best gaming computers, and they need constant support, unlike gaming computers...
So from the point of hardware, good machine is good machine, at least if you ask my Asus. And not to be confused I have HP 8560w workstation that is 6 years old and works perfect, only that you can use it as furnace while rendering.
On the other hand, you are always in risk to buy configuration that is in some detail wrong, without even knowing it, so I keep possibility that somebody can have bad luck with configuration and have problems even on certified machines.

Nice to know, Ivan.

Where did I ever say or even remotely imply non-certified machines will not work with NX? Where did I say that ALL certified machines will work ALL the time with NX? Where did I even allude that no one should NOT buy non-certified hardware? To be honest, I could care less what people choose to buy for hardware. I DO, however, feel it's important to point out ALL the details rather than simply pointing people to a completely gray area where there is some risk involved, especially if that gray area could cost them time and/or money. Since you obviously missed it, my point was that if you have a problem with a certified machine, Siemens WILL support it. If you have a problem with a non-certified machine, Siemens will NOT support it (meaning investigate why the hardware isn't working properly with NX and/or offer a fix if they can), plain and simple, nothing more, nothing less. Please be sure to pass that along to your talking pure gaming ASUS since he didn't have anything with which to disagree in the first place.

You are right Xwheelguy, my post was more addressed to Siemens recommendations than to you personally. I just addressed it wrongly to you instead to Siemens. Sorry.

I appreciate that Ivan, more than you'd know.
