A few years ago I watched an NX demonstration that showed how a car engine is automatically oriented (by NX) to fit under the hood for assembly.
Can somebody tell me what module was used in NX for this ?

Thank you very much.
Maybe it was longer than just a few years ago, and maybe John Baker gave the presentation. Jeez, I miss those.

one more question
Is it possible to save an mpeg of the path ?

Since it's technically a Sequence, there should be an option to output a video (at least their used to be one).

well the operation is the reverse, it's automaticly oriented to be extracted from the engine bay , without interfering with the car body.
it's not oriented to fit under the hood. I assume that is still too complex, at least to mount in the desired position.

Tomas
