Hi Guys,
Our company ha started trialling standalone simulation software for the extrusion business.
We do all out design and manufacture with NX6 currently and slowly migrating to NX 10.
The simulation software requires a stp file. Problems arise with errors occurring on the model
when trying to apply the mesh.(e.g. triangulation errors) When talking to the software technicians they reply with our software can repair the
geometry. The software they use is SpaceClaim. I am sure NX can produce clean models ready for simulation but
I am having trouble what is requires? Is there any tips on blends and face sizes??? I have found the Heal Geometry
export which helps a lot but not quite error free. Any help/advice would be great
